A new dawn...  The musicians of the Tallinn Baroque Orchestra have launched a new initiative, to create a Historically Informed orchestral ensemble in Estonia that rehearses every week and performs every month.

The idea is to create the Orchestra first, and then seek funding. We are not asking for money, but for your practical support, advice and expertise. And if you are a musician who wants Estonia to have a Baroque Orchestra, come and play with us! We cannot promise that our initiative will lead to permanent funding, but we are certainly going to try!

The next concert is Saturday April 1st, April Fools' Day: Baroque Fools Folias & Fantasias from the Old and New Worlds: Ortiz, Coelho, Corelli, Vivaldi etc. Some fools remain anonymous! 

The following concert is Sunday May 14th: Españoleta Dances & Tientos from Spain, South America & Africa, in honour of the visit of Jordi Savall & Xavier Diaz-Latorre on May 4th. We continue our artistic development from the good start we have already made. We expect everyone to attend the final rehearsal on the concert-day, plus about 3 more.
